Cubs Centenary
Cub Scouts is 100 years old in 2016. The County camp will be taking place at Mallory Park, with all Cubs from the County invited – it’s hoped that Cubs from all of the District’s groups will be going to celebrate and take part in a huge range of activities.

With this taking place in June, District camp has been moved to the first week of July. Christine and the Cub Leaders of the District are discussing what to do for the camp – to make it a District celebration of the centenary.
As next year sees Charnwood taking place as well, the usual Splash Camp for Scouts isn’t happening. Instead, Cubs are invited to two days of water activities at the Leicester Outdoor Pursuits Centre on the weekend in September that Splash would normally take place on.
