Don’t like spiders ๐Ÿ•ท especially when they are walking across the floor in front of me

Another work day over with lots of jobs completed โœ… around the site. Thanks to those who gave their time in exchange for pizza, soup, cake, tea.... This included a few of our Explorers who sacrificed blood to clear briar and brambles on the Western boundary of North Field and then plant saplings ๐ŸŒฑ there and around Alanโ€™s Oak ๐ŸŒณ.
Take a look at the before, during and after images, ๐Ÿ’ช

A worthwhile watch for all campers, whether you have a Nightโ€™s Away Permit or not.
If you have any questions, Iโ€™m happy to talk

So tonight in the South Field, following three days of underground challenges, we have three new standpipes, over 100 metres of new drainage pipe, rebuilt ditch culvert, new cylinder manhole to manage (old and new) drainage and as a team, got very wet, muddy, scratched heads and laughed (no one was safe from innuendo) a lot. All trenches will be finishing tomorrow and hopefully by St Georgeโ€™s you wonโ€™t know the work has been undertaken, baring extra taps and a drier field.
Thanks Team for all your hours ๐Ÿค โšœ๏ธ๐Ÿšฐ๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ•

Thank-you to all involved :-)

Caroline Burton Stuart Hughes - This is our field :)

Thank you!

I ache all over from using muscles I don’t normally use but thoroughly enjoyed my day in the trenches โšœ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜œ
