Can't make 11th. BUT have some check-list info to add - will anybody be there on the 4th?

Terry, Sarah Paget and James Hage are wardening this weekend, so no problem if you want to pop over.

At this weekends South Leics St George’s celebrations, we received very positive reviews of our new ground fire pits from Kilworth Scouts. Really pleased they work and now more will be made.
Emma, has posted these thoughts on our page, but the Head Warden can’t find the ‘yes’, publish button, his strengths are in other areas!!

Tom Taylor Great idea with positions for tripod feet!

Oh these are nice

TAKE ;-)

Got that whipped or was it just wiped? Late night loo cleaning undertaken, all refreshed from groups onsite and now ready for tomorrow’s St George’s Day.. Does the Wardening Team get an ‘Order of the Ablution’

Several hundred bottoms salute you. Your work may not be glamorous or immediately recognised... but without you, events don’t happen and there would be several hundred less smiles and early nights tomorrow. Thank you.

Very disappointed to find this damaged Ash today, why do people do it?
Over the last year we’ve had a number of living trees attacked by knife, axe and saw, it isn’t as if the wood pile is empty!

Had this at Belchamps as well, very disappointing that scouts would think this is something to do.

If you find out who it is the penalties can be huge, financially

Poor supervision, but it may be adults are responsible.

It unfortunately happens at other Scout campsites as well.

Some people just don't understand!

A great work day today, with faces new and old joining us to make a difference on the campsite, whilst proudly wearing our orange service team neckers. Lots of little spring jobs on the list today, so we’ve spruced up, cleaned, improved, investigated, repaired and created new... We’ve also had training (led by John H, Campsite Committee member and Community Responder) on our new defibrillator and had a CPR refresher.
