Alan’s Oak
Yesterday saw the planting of Alan’s Oak. The English Oak was planted in Alan’s favourite spot at Ullesthorpe Campsite, in the far corner of the North Field, from where he could see the whole of the campsite. Scouts from the very young to the very old, from the District, from the campsite and from his friends, attended the informal ceremony.
