Founders Day – Remembering Skip
A year ago today (22nd February) we said goodbye to Alan ‘Skip’ Greenwood, on our Scouting Founders’ Day. Last Sunday some of Skips friends met and planted an Oak tree in the Avenue, a place he would stand and survey the campsite.
Gone but not forgotten, especially as it’s also known as Thinking Day by our Guiding friends — at Ullesthorpe Scout Campsite.
