Great Tower Campsite
Scout Activity Centre based near Lake Windermere, Lake District. As well as being ideally situated for hiking and the Lakes, Great Tower has a huge range of onsite activities. It’s also a fantastic site for camping and exploring, based in the hills on the edge of the lake. The one downside is the distance – camping over a bank holiday weekend, we didn’t get to the site until gone 11pm on the Friday.
