Countesthorpe Scout Gala – 5th July 1-4pm
7 weeks until the Gala and our plans are taking shape!
New for this year is our Laser Tag Inflatable, sponsored by Kazzoo – bring all your friends and see if you can come out on top! £3 per person, maximum of 10 people per slot. We are thrilled to announce Countesthorpe’s first ever (we think?) Duck Race, sponsored by BlueStone Celebrant! Sponsor a duck for £2, cheer it on through the heats during the day, before the grand final at 4pm. (There are lots of funky ducks to choose from, which is yours to keep – ducks are limited, so be sure to come along early to get yours!) Also returning this year is our ‘Skittles with Chopsticks’ competition, sponsored by Lutterworth and Villages Foodbank. How many Skittles can you move with chopsticks in 1 minute? Great prizes to win – check out our leaderboard during the day for the top score!
All of our usual favourites will also return, including our Bouncy Castle sponsored by RD Dental & Aesthetics, BBQ sponsored by Nova Laboratories, Refreshments sponsored by The Workwear Factory, and all of our usual games stalls. Come and burst a balloon on Pop a Prize or test out your creative skills in our Craft Zone. Our Events Arena will feature acts throughout the day, as well as our popular Spacehopper races and new for this year – Welly Wanging!
All funds raised at the event will go towards our activities for over 170 young people from Countesthorpe and the local area, as well as helping to maintain our aging building.
